Is there a dress code?

Answer

Your comfort is our priority, so feel free to wear whatever makes you feel your best! We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white. Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’ve curated the guest list to ensure you’ll know someone at the party! If your invitation includes "+ guest," feel free to bring a plus one. If it says "The [Your Last Name]" then your whole family is invited. Please refer to your invitation/envelope or the RSVP's on our website for details on who is included, and kindly note that if it doesn’t mention a guest or family, we’re unable to accommodate additional plus ones. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. If you are unsure for any reason please feel free to reach out to Sándor to ask any questions.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We want our engagement party to be a fun, relaxing night for all our guests, so we’ve decided to make it an adults-only event. Think of it as a chance to kick back, enjoy the celebration, and have a night off, you deserve it! We hope you understand and can’t wait to party with you!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 1st so we can finalise our guest count and make sure there’s plenty of food and drinks to keep the celebration going all night long!

Will there be food?

Answer

This is a cocktail event, so there will be plenty of finger food and, as Lillie would say, all the 'sweet treats' you can enjoy! However, please note that a full meal will not be served.

What about gifts?

Answer

Your love and support mean everything to us, and we’re so excited to celebrate together! This will be our main celebration so if you would like to give a gift, feel free to choose something that you think we’ll love or contribute to our wishing well as we start this next chapter of our lives. But please know that your presence alone is the best gift we could ask for! We’re so excited to celebrate our engagement with you!

Interstate & Children

Answer

We understand how challenging it can be to travel, and we’re incredibly grateful to have such wonderful people in our lives willing to make the trip for us. On top of that, we know how difficult it can be to arrange care for your children around a 'child-free event.' If this presents a challenge and you need to bring your children along, please let us know. There may be a few of you in this situation, and we’d be happy to explore options that everyone feels comfortable with.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While there is no parking directly at the venue, it's located in the heart of Adelaide, where you'll find plenty of secure paid parking options just a short walk away.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the event?

Answer

Transportation to and from the hotels is not provided, but all of our recommended hotels are within walking distance of the venue. Since we’re in the heart of Adelaide, arranging other transportation options like Ubers, taxis, or buses should be easy. Please note that in Adelaide, most buses stop running between 11 PM and 12 AM.

Will we continue the party afterwards?

Answer

Since this is a celebration for the Future Mr. and Mrs. Papp-Horvath, you know we’re going to have an amazing time and want to keep the fun going even after the party ends! For all you party enthusiasts, just a couple of streets away is Hindley Street (for my fellow Gold Coasters). This is the vibrant club strip, and you’re more than welcome to head over there at 2 AM when our festivities wrap up. Just a heads-up: after 3 AM, you won’t be able to enter any clubs, but you can stay and party until sunrise—unlike in QLD!
