"I can't help falling in love with you..."

Rossouw and I met in a Philosophy class at Samford. I can still vividly see him walking into class with a beanie on, carrying his skateboard under his arm. I already thought he was cute, but then I heard his accent...and I was crushing hard. I texted my mom and sisters about him that same day. I worked up the courage to invite him to a sorority function with me in the Spring of 2018. It wasn't until Spring of 2019 that we made any feelings known to one another - and I was graduating in a month. Great timing. We dated long distance for a LONG time, quarantined for 5 months in Clarksville at my parents' house, spent 6 weeks in South Africa, and finally called the same city home when I moved to Birmingham in the Summer of 2022. Rossouw is my very best friend, he keeps me level-headed (or tries to, at least), and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him. You being on this website means that you have played at least some part in our love story - so, thank you.

Rossouw and I have made the decision to have an intimate wedding with our immediate families. We are so excited to share this special time with them, and we appreciate the support and understanding we've received from other family and friends.
