Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request formal attire for our wedding. For men, we suggest a classic tuxedo if it's within reach, or alternatively, a dark suit paired with a tie. For women, long dresses or gowns are encouraged.

Will shuttles be provided to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle from the Salem Waterfront Hotel and the Hawthorne Hotel. The Hotel Salem, the Merchant Hotel, and the Hampton Inn Salem are a short walk to the pickup locations. The only shuttle departure for the ceremony is at 3:45pm. Busses will loop back to the hotels later in the evening.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We request that you do not take any photos of the ceremony, as we will have multiple professional photographers capturing the day with us. Please feel free to take your own photos to remember the day later in the evening.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited street parking around the Corinthian on Nahant Street, Ocean Avenue, and Kimball Street, but we suggest you take a bus from the hotel or an Uber instead.

Are there Ubers in Marblehead / Salem?

Answer

Yes, typically Ubers and Lyft are available, but the wait may be longer than in a city. Salem also has several taxi services, and the bride and groom have used BeDriven (https://www.bedriven.com) for airport pickups and drop-offs.
