Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 19th. You can RSVP by clicking on the "RSVP" tab on our website. After this date, RSVPs will no longer be accepted.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! We encourage all guests to wear formal attire. Formal dress code for women includes: floor length gowns, tea-length dresses, and midi dresses. Formal dress code for men includes: suit or tux, dress shirt, and tie.

Question

What is expected at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. We will have a Catholic mass during our ceremony. We would love for you to be in attendance for the ceremony regardless of your religion. If you are not a practicing Catholic, you are encouraged to go up for a blessing, but you may not receive the Eucharist. You will go up with your arms criss-crossed in an "X" across your chest. If you would prefer to not receive a blessing, you may remain seated in the pew. Please refrain from using your phone or taking photos during our ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 pm. In order to ensure that everyone is seated on time, please plan to be in the doors by 1:45 pm.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, you can find our registry under the “Registry” tab.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

For our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding adults-only (21+), with the exception of our nieces and nephews. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a night out!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Under the "travel" tab, we have linked the hotel room block.

Question

Is there transportation?

Answer

All guests will need to find their own transportation to the church for the ceremony. There will be a shuttle to the reception from the hotel for guests staying at the hotel. Please look at the "travel" tab for more information regarding pick up and drop off.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Please refrain from using your phone or taking photos during the ceremony. We have amazing photographers that will be capturing our photos all day! You are more than welcome to take photos during the reception.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. Because we are keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Is there free parking?

Answer

There is free parking at Saint John the Baptist. There is also free parking behind Riverside Receptions and a public parking lot across the street.
