It all began behind the bar. I was a server looking for more — a way to be creative, to connect with people, and to try something new. Martín was the one who showed me the ropes. He knew everything about bartending, and with patience and encouragement, he taught me the art of cocktails. What started as lessons quickly grew into friendship, and before long we were working side by side as a team. Outside of work, we found another rhythm together: country line dancing in Tyler. The moment we stepped onto the dance floor, something clicked. Our chemistry was effortless, our laughter contagious, and it felt like the rest of the world faded away. Of course, Martín didn’t waste any time letting me know how he felt. He asked me out more than once — and more than once, I turned him down. I cherished our friendship and wanted to protect it. But Martín never gave up. His persistence wasn’t pushy; it was patient, steady, and full of heart. And eventually, I realized what he knew all along: this was more than friendship, more than dance partners, more than coworkers. This is love. Now, we can’t imagine our story without one another. From late nights behind the bar to countless spins on the dance floor, we’ve built a life filled with laughter, passion, and unwavering support. And this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to keep writing the next chapters — together, as husband and wife.
