We matched on a dating app in 2023 unknowingly that we grew up 7min away from each other all along, and after lots of coordinating around Lilli’s coaching schedule, we eventually made our way to our first date at the Blind Rabbit Speakeasy. One date turned into a few more, and before long we were officially together. We both wanted something serious, something lasting, and as our connection grew, we realized we had found it. Getting to know each other felt effortless, and it didn’t take long to know we were each other’s person. In October 2025, Jake asked Lilli to marry him—and she said YES! He had the whole proposal planned around taking Christmas photos, but in true Lilli fashion, she unknowingly changed those plans. What could have been a detour turned into one of the most memorable days of their relationship. With the help of Lilli’s sister, Ashley, the surprise came together perfectly and became a moment we’ll cherish forever. Now we get to say ‘I do’ with our two dogs, Calvin and Maple, by our side and all our family, friends, and loved ones there to celebrate. Together, we’re stepping into a new chapter—one we’re endlessly excited for.
