We met in November 2021 at work though our stories don’t quite lineup. Ryan swears he said hi to me in the break room and that I completely ignored him. I swear I responded. I was just so quiet that he didn’t hear me. Shortly after that almost introduction, Ryan was moved into my work area and suddenly we were talking all the time he would frequently call me over to his desk to “help him figure things out,” even though he already knew exactly what he was doing. It gave him a reason to talk to me, one excuse turned into many conversations, which turned into something more and by January 2022 we made things official. We’ve been together ever since proving that sometimes love starts with a misunderstood hello and a very clever excuse.
