Wedding Party

Meet our squad who is holding us down until July 25, 2021 and after.

Kevin

Best Man

Me and Quintin met each other in 2008 when we were on a college tour for middle school. As the tour guide was pointing out random places on campus Quintin noticed a wooden cabin far off in the middle of the woods on the outskirts of the campus. He turned to the group and asked “Yo who wants to go in the woods with me”, as everybody began to say no, I turned to him and said, “You know what? Sure, let’s go”. I have been tagging along with him and his random ideas ever since.

Brittani

Maid of Honor

I’ve known the bride since 94. She’s my sister And she is the best thing that ever happened to me - Lill...I mean Brittani

Pete

Best Man

When I first met Q he was a heathen lol. When I met Lily she was really kind and always helping the kids at Edgewood, then she met Q and I knew Lily was in trouble lol. I met Q through our Fraternity, from the beginning I knew this man was dedicated and has the biggest heart, he'd always promoted volunteering opportunities and would rather spend his time giving to others than partying. He's one to literally and figuratively give the shirt off his back. Lily I've known since my time of volunteering at Edgewood, she was always a wonderful leader to the kids, she is always welcoming, kind, and has the biggest smile. I knew once I saw these two interacting they were meant for each other and would make a wonderful couple. I am excited for them to take the next step in their relationship.

Chemere

Bridesmaid

I met my sweet Lillian at MSU. We were apart of an on-campus bible study group. A few semesters later, Lily became the president and I was her VP. Lily invited me to many campus events and made sure I stayed connected. We eventually begin to fellowship outside of bible study by volunteering together, going shopping or to see a movie, planning weekend getaways, painting and my favorite of all, eating a homemade meal prepared by Lily. I can count on her to help me transition to apartments, brighten my day with her random acts of kindness, encourage me in trying times, pray for me or even be a listening ear when in need. I’m beyond honored that God allowed our paths to cross and have strengthen our sisterhood throughout the years. I love you Lillian & I’m so happy to witness

Alora

Bridesmaid

I don’t just know the bride, I grew up with the bride. Technically, I am the cousin that never went home after holiday gatherings, turned into the sister from another mister. So happy to see blessings going her way 💕

John

Groomsman

I've known Quintin since our 9th grade year at King HS. He was actually one of the first people I met and he been solid since. I always felt like he was going to do some great in life and he's doing it I'm happy for you bro.

Malika

Bridesmaid

My name is Malika and I’ve known the bride for 14 years. We met in 7th grade at Cornerstone School. In the beginning, we weren’t the closest friends but that quickly changed by the end of middle school. After one year apart in high school, we reconnected at Winans Academy and had the opportunity to be apart of the senior class council together. Throughout high school we visited Michigan State for the first time, where we eventually ended up attending for college. During college, we had amazing weekend adventures like taking the Lansing bus to the movies (we never took that route again) or going to the club for the first time. Even as an adult we’ve been able to travel together and experience life. I’m so happy to have this opportunity to be part of another big celebration with lily

Ameko

Groomsman

Me and Q go way, back to the days of roaming the halls of King High School. I actually met Quintin, sophomore year in Ms. Rogers computer science class. I remember walking in and she asked me to sit next to him. The first thought that ran through my head, “who’s this hoodlum”. However, little did I know, that was the beginning of a brotherly love. We’ve seen the highs and lows, from DPS to MSU. I am truly honored to be one of your groomsmen and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you and your beautiful fiancée!

Devonna

Bridesmaid

I met Quintin while we attended MSU and worked for Edgewood in 2012 or 13. We quickly became friends as he, Julie and I hung out even outside of work. He showed me the ropes at Edgewood as I was the newbie and was always up for a laugh with the kids. We went out separate ways after graduation only hearing from one another occasionally. Then eventually through Lillian. I met Lillian when she joined MSUGC.But we attended the same church and every church event together which led to a lot more quality time. We had a great time in Lansing even after graduation and continued to grow our friendship. We’ve kept in touch even as I’ve moved all over the place. She’s always been an open friend I could trust every secret to without judgment, but with prayer.

Lalo

Groomsman

I got to meet my brother Q while in collage. When he started his journey to become a brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc. From the start we clicked. We chilled by eating food and talking about things that worried us, and as we opened up to each other we became closer; and I knew things would be ok !

Kierra

Bridesmaid

I met lily freshman year of college in gospel choir at MSU. Sophomore year we lived in the same building and began to get close and hang out a lot more. Junior year we worked for America reads at one of the meetings she introduced me to Quintin who was just a friend at the moment lol but they had worked at the same site. Over the years me and lily continued to grow close and be there for each other. I consider her one of my closest friends.

Breante

Groomsman

Lol I met Q through what would become our group of friends. You, Mark and Josh was all cracking jokes in the lobby of West Wilson, and asked me if Sparty's was open. I let y'all get to the door before I told y'all it was closed because I remember y'all making a joke about me a week ago.

Olivia

Bridesmaid

I met Lillian when I was 17 and I started Junior year at Winans Academy the first thing I remember about her was that she was very social and ambitious. We were friends but we didnt become really close until we went to Michigan State together. Lillian was always inviting me to different events around campus and giving me pep talks and encouraging words when I felt like college life was going to swallow me whole. She has always been someone that I could rely on, andI is honored to be her friend. I have had the privilege of knowing her in our adolescent, college and adults year and I can say that she has blossomed into someone I admire. So congratulations to Lillian and Quintin I am excited to see what the next steps are going to be!

Mark

Groomsman

Its hard to even begin stating what this man means to me. This man has a spirit of steel and a heart of gold. He works so well with others, absolutely loves the kids, and is one of the most sacrificial people I know. I dont believe in saying things just to be nice so hear me when I say Q is,"That Guy" He is the epitome of what any man should aspire to be and I look up to him, respect him, and love him infinitely! Thats dawg and we've known each other for 8 years now going on 9. We met at State , our conversation was like the ones Malcolm and Martin must've had about staying together and being there for our community. Without even remembering all the details, I can tell you the content of Q's character spoke through his actions long before you ever heard a word that came out of his mouth.

Toni

Bridesmaid

I met Quintin at the age of 9. I can remember when the doctor placed him in my arms and him looking up at me. I am his big sister and I can share plenty of stories of how Quintin was a crybaby or how his favorite song was nice and slow at the age of 2. But I want to focus on the positive he brings to the table. Quintin is a handsome man with a gentle heart and never wants to see a female cry. He is intelligent beyond his years but willing to listen to advance. I have watched him grow into a loving, loyal, and understanding young man which are some strong values that a marriage needs to survive. I believe that Lillian brings out the best in my brother and I have never seen him with a bigger smile. I truly wish you guys a long-lasting adventure

Josh

Groomsman

Joshua Brannigan- Detroit native, MSU grad, and most average man alive. I met the homie Q 8 years ago on the Westside of Wilson Hall at MSU. This is where we got to know each other through long nights out, music, and one embarrassing basketball game. Since college, we've become brothers, confidants, and financial advisors to each other. From grown man decisions like buying houses, relationships, and investments, to our future endeavors, I am most proud of Quentin's grown man decision to step into marriage alongside his soulmate. One day when I take that leap, I hope to seek his guidance as we've done since we've known one another.

Chartease

Bridesmaid

Lillian and I met while attending Cornerstone middle school. Her charismatic and kind personality made her a great friend for me to have as a nervous former homeschooler. She has been a best friend ever since and I am excited to be a part of such an exciting moment in her life!
