Lillian and Kyle met in their first year of medical school. Lillian was friends with one of Kyle's roommates, who invited them both to a night of dancing and mechanical bull-riding at Cowboys in OKC early in the spring semester. They spent much of the night talking, and late in the evening, Lillian finally convinced Kyle to two-step with her. Soon after, they had their first date at Revolución, bonding over their love of tacos and margaritas. They were soon inseparable, and Lillian knew he was the one when she saw how much Kyle loved her cat, Gris.

With a ring made with the diamond from her mom's ring, Kyle popped the question while on a hike at Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park in Hinton, OK, which was the first place they went camping together back in May of 2018. It only seemed fitting to start the next stage of their lives together at the place where they had their first adventure as a couple.

Leading up to their wedding, Lillian and Kyle will be in their final year of medical school. So on top of planning a wedding, they will be taking board exams, rotating in the hospital, and applying to and interviewing for residency programs across the country. Lillian is planning to apply to programs in Pediatrics, and Kyle is planning to apply to programs in Internal Medicine. By the time the wedding comes around, they will know where they are living for at least the next 3 years. About a month or so after the wedding, they will officially be doctors and will likely be on their way to their new home! They can’t wait to share the joy of these exciting months with their friends and family!
