Why are you getting married in Mobile?

Answer

Jacob was born and raised in Mobile. We wanted to get married by the water, so his hometown felt like the perfect place.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm, so please plan to arrive by 4:45pm, at the latest.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, so please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony; we've hired a professional photographer to capture the special moments and will be sharing them with everyone after the event.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail Attire: Please wear a suit and tie for men and a cocktail dress or dressy separates for women

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we cannot host everyone, though we wish we could! Plus ones are indicated on your invitation and RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but are looking forward to an adult-only celebration! Please plan to make other arrangements for your sweet littles.

Is there free parking at the wedding venue?

Absolutely! There is plenty of free parking at the venue.

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

The ceremony and part of the cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will be inside.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

When you RSVP, there will be a space to list your dietary needs.

Will guests be able to visit the Maritime Museum during the reception?

Answer

The museum will be closed during the wedding, but we encourage you to visit when it’s open. They are offering a buy one, get one free admission deal for our wedding guests during our wedding weekend. Just purchase your tickets at the museum and let them know you’re part of the Kaufman/Silberman wedding to receive the discount.
