Our story began long before we ever started dating, as we have known each other for a long time through family friendship. Our main connection was through my sister and brother-in-law and our dating relationship actually sparked at their wedding in May of 2022. One of my funniest memories was leading up to their wedding, my sister told me “I think Goodwin likes you and is going to ask you to dance at our wedding.” And sure enough, he did, as well as asking me for a picture of the two of us haha. Since then, we showed interest in beginning to date, which was the best decision of my life. Through our relationship, I have seen us grow together through ups and downs and I cannot imagine doing life alongside anyone else. Goodwin is so encouraging, gentle, funny, smart, silly, and never fails to strike up a conversation with literally anyone. He makes me feel so loved and lifted up and I can truly say that he is my best friend and I cannot wait to get married and see the life that God has in store for us!

Goodwin proposed to me on our 3 year dating anniversary - June 1st, 2025. He took me on a lunch date that was supposedly for our anniversary, but ended up being the beginning of a new journey for us! We walked along the beautiful paths of Wintethur Gardens, reflecting on our journey of dating and fondest memories, when he brought me to a very specific spot (which he got lost trying to find in the excitement of it all lol) and asked me to marry him. It was after the fact that I learned how much thought and care he put into this moment, scoping out the property for almost a month before, coordinating with a photographer, as well as planning a special surprise party for us to celebrate with our closest family and friends. The day was as perfect as it can get and will always hold a special place in my heart!
