What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Think: if Nebraska and Lake Como had a very fancy, fabulous baby. We’re going for formal—leaning black tie—with lots of personality, color, and texture. Think Italian summer garden party—elegant, vibrant, and full of flair! Ladies: Floor-length gowns are highly encouraged, but a formal-leaning cocktail dress works too (as long as it’s not something you'd wear to a casual cocktail hour—save the jersey knits and sundresses for brunch!). Go bold with color, pattern, or texture—we want you to look like you just stepped out of a summer vineyard in Tuscany. Gents: Tuxes or sharp suits, please! Add a pocket square, fun tie, or whatever makes you feel like your most dapper self. Weather tip: It’s August in Nebraska, so plan for warm temps! Lightweight fabrics are your friend. Bottom line? Dress to impress, not to stress. Think elevated, vibrant, and timeless—not fast fashion. We want the whole day to feel like a magical garden party in Italy… just conveniently located in the heart of the Midwest.
