We met on the dating app Hinge in August 2019. I (Megan) swiped right first, but Triple initiated conversation. On my profile I had something along the lines of 'the way to my heart is queso and margaritas' and Triple jumped in asking for the best queso recommendation in Dallas. It did take a couple of weeks for us to schedule a date. But on a Tuesday afternoon at a rooftop bar - we finally met. We got lost in conversation and stayed until almost 11 PM. (Did I mention it was a Tuesday?) I remember leaving thinking it was a good date - but was he into me? I couldn't tell!! We scheduled another date a week later. We had dinner and stayed into the night deep in conversation. This was the night we realized we had so much in common. The list is actually quite long. I asked him to walk me to my car - hoping he would kiss me. But, Triple didn't get the hint and walked me to my car then left! :) We went on another date bowling a week later. This is where he could see my competitive side and thought I would fit in with his family well. Even though I was a terrible bowler! When we left this date, I finally got the goodnight kiss I was looking for. Triple likes to remind me that I said "Finally, I've been waiting for that" after that kiss. From that point on we were pretty much inseparable and the rest is history. I couldn't imagine my life without him and I feel so happy, grateful, and blessed that I get to spend the rest of my life with him.
