Jin is one of the few friends who have known Wendan and Yufei as long as they've known each other. They met during freshman orientation at Columbia. Wendan and Jin are now neighbors both at home (they live in the same building) and at work (as residents in orthodontics and anesthesia - back at Columbia)!

Meekal and Yufei worked on the same team at Twitter. Their friendship was forged by winning multiple hackathons and working through countless late night sessions at cafes all over San Francisco. They once had an adventurous 7-hour drive after almost getting stranded on a ski trip in Tahoe (it was Yufei's fault).
Kathleen Marcelo

Kathleen and Wendan first met as pre-dental students on the interview trail. Having both landed at UCSF, they became fast friends and were each other's clinic partners through the ups and downs of 4 years of dental school. They claim to "share the same brain" and Kathleen is only person in the world who is as organized as Wendan.
Steven Wong

As a fellow Canadian, Steven has known Yufei and Wendan since their freshman year at Columbia. Yufei and Steven shared many late nights working together on a daily college newspaper, The Columbia Spectator. Coincidentally, they now both work at a different media entity that is slightly more technologically advanced - Facebook - but on opposite coasts.
Mychi Nguyen

Mychi and Wendan met as first year dental students at UCSF. They became friends and bonded over their shared love for good food and mutual interest in orthodontics. Luckily, now as orthodontic residents at Columbia and NYU, they get to go on culinary adventures together all over NYC, and Wendan is glad to have Mychi as that one friend who will always say yes to dessert.
Anirudh Srinivas

Anirudh and Yufei first became friends as summer interns at Twitter before both returning as full-time Tweeps the following year–where they took many extended coffee breaks at work. Since then, they've both been bouncing between San Francisco and New York and have shared many adventures together, including trips to Las Vegas, Russia, and Mexico.
Ying Wang

Ying and Wendan met as undergrads at Columbia. Wendan's first memory of Ying is when they were both nervously waiting outside a classroom to take a final exam in their infamous Intro to Biology class. They made it through the rest of the pre-med curriculum together and are now both back at Columbia as residents in orthodontics and internal medicine.
James Wu

James and Yufei first met as co-workers at Shift in San Francisco. When Yufei decided to move to NYC to join Wendan in 2018, James had no choice but to follow his favorite Shifter–he even used Yufei's car as a meeting room to negotiate a job offer in New York. James is now Yufei's go-to happy hour buddy and Wendan's favorite person to talk to about all things pop culture, especially the latest Netflix rom-coms.
Belle Yan

Belle has known both Yufei and Wendan since their days as undergrads at Columbia. As a San Francisco native, Belle was a great friend to have when all 3 of them moved to the city after graduation as she helped make their transition to this new city much easier. Now, Wendan and Yufei are excited to have their only lawyer friend officiate their ceremony!
