Quintessential Maine experience, pretty much. And you can turn it into an afternoon or morning at Reid State Park
Yeah ok southern food in Maine... but it was our favorite restaurant in our old neighborhood.
Their Tokyo Abura is one in my top five favorite dishes anywhere everywhere. I'm always craving it. It's also where we went for something like our 8th date.
We went here on a First Friday for our third date.
Their tour is fun!
Our first official date was here.
A fun place to see live music. They go by a donation policy.
A nice little hike. We went in the snow with Sheena a couple months after we had met.
Lovely walk by the water and Portland Head Lighthouse.
We rented a canoe there once and saw lots of wildlife. I would think it will still be in season, but you might want to call and check.
The Cumberland Fair will be going on Sept 22-28.
There are several options for trips you can do. Peaks Island is probably the most popular. It's nice to get out on the water on one of the Casco Bay ferries.
Just about the cutest lighthouse you'll ever see!
Maine seafood on the waterfront; it's kind of a must.
Our favorite pub in our old neighborhood. Underground with candles.
So tasty. The dumplings and other smaller plates are the best there. The Dragon Milk is my favorite cocktail anywhere ever.
My favorite high end restaurant in Portland.
Our go-to for a nice hike.
A lovely pond with easy trails
