Ferries from Hyannis

Hyline is more reliable than Steamship Authority if we had to choose. Steamship fast boat gets cancelled randomly. However, the Steamship slow boat is the last boat to get cancelled for bad weather. Boats get cancelled for wind not rain. Cancellations for boats start around 31-32 mph sustained wind speeds and waves above 6 feet. Tip: Take Dramamine 30-60mins before boarding. Don't mix with alcohol. Stare at the horizon. Avoid the clam chowder if winds exceed 20mph. We will be watching the weather diligently for everyone.

Our Favorite Parking Lot in Hyannis 220 Main St, Hyannis, MA 02601

There is a public parking lot on Main Street in Hyannis. It's 0.6 miles from Hyline Cruises (14 min walk) and 0.4 miles (9min walk) to Steamship. You pay online with your spot number. Cheapest parking you'll find and easiest way to pay. If you're in a rush you can park, run, and pay on your phone later because there aren't any attendants. If you get stuck on island, you can go into the app and add extra time to your spot. Prices go down to $10-$15 a day in the off-season. Tip: Take a picture of your spot number. There is also a convenient store right there if you need cigarettes, olde english, or a hostess cupcake. Other parking lots are available directly through Hyline and Steamship with shuttles for those not able to walk.
