We knew each other through mutual friends, but didn’t officially meet until Misael came into my work for lunch with some mutual friends. He was last person in his group to pay. After he was left alone by the register; he mastered up the courage to ask for my number. The rest is history, and have been inseparable ever since.

Misael has always been the most selfless person I know. He made his birthday party about me. Our families and friends were celebrating his twenty-fourth birthday and as we sanged Happy Birthday and he blew out his candles, he suddenly got down on one knee and asked "Will You Marry Me?'" I fell back, cried of happiness, excitement and nodded YES!
