We met while working as travel nurses at a contract in Washington state. Lil had her eyes set on Bailey from the beginning, but played it cool as friends initially. While playing lowkey she struggled to keep his attention, until an Elton John concert. After months of Cat and Mouse, Bailey finally realized that Lil is what he had been searching for so far from home. This Floridian had set sail, but ultimately decided to drop anchor on Island de la Lil. What started as an innocent office style Pam and Jim, had finally culminated into a coffee date that would take them both to places neither had expected to find in the misty and gritty city of Tacoma.

It was the moment I had been waiting for, but I chickened out and ran away. A couple months later, at an Elton John concert the sparks were re-ignited. After the concert, we were at a bar playing darts and Bailey asked me if I wanted to get coffee with him sometime. I melted on the table, giggled and said of course. Bailey then told me, "If you are truly interested, text me in the morning when you are sober." The morning came, I laid in bed, giddy with the thought of this coffee date. After a nervous text, we had our first date. It was the most natural first date I'd ever been on. Two lattes and a walk down a fall tree covered Proctor Street in Tacoma, our story began.
