Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Elegance Estates in Stafford, Virginia.
We kindly request that guests refrain from using mobile phones during the ceremony. A professional photographer will be present to capture these special moments, allowing everyone to be fully present and enjoy the occasion.
We want everyone to feel comfortable while also embracing the formality of this special occasion, and we truly appreciate your help in making the evening feel festive and refined. The dress code is semi-formal. Our wedding pallet is inspired by emerald green. You are welcome (but not required) to wear complementary tones—such as sage, gold, taupe or soft earthy tones and neutrals.
In keeping with the formality of our celebration, we have chosen for our wedding to be adults-only, with the exception of young children in our immediate families. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
We kindly ask that attendance be limited to the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for your understanding and for helping us keep our celebration as planned.
For guests interested in accommodations on base, **Inns of the Corps** is the designated lodging facility. Please be advised that reservations cannot be made until one month prior to your arrival date, as rooms are initially reserved for military personnel traveling on official orders. Should rooms become available, guests may contact the hotel directly at **703-630-4444** beginning one month before their intended stay to inquire about availability and secure a reservation.
To access the base, visitors must present a valid military ID or obtain a visitor pass. If you do not have a military ID, please visit the MCBQ Visitors Center and complete the steps provided on https://www.quantico.marines.mil/Info/Base-Access/Civilian-Non-Military/ We recommend allowing a little extra time for this process to help ensure a smooth and timely arrival. ***Check website for operating hours*** If you arrive after the Visitor Control Center (VCC) is closed and need base access, go directly to the gate. They will ask the reason for your visit. * If you’re staying on base, show your hotel reservation. The next business day, you will need to visit the VCC to obtain a visitor pass. * If you’re attending the Bridal Shower, let the guard know you are attending an event at Master Gunnery Sergeant Manuel Ramos’ residence: 19112 Geiger Road, Quantico. * For the Rehearsal Dinner, arrive at the VCC at least one hour before the event. State that you are attending the Ramos wedding rehearsal dinner at Harry Lee Hall.
We want everyone to enjoy the celebration! Please let us know your dietary needs when you RSVP, and we’ll happily make sure there’s something delicious for you.
We recommend flying into either Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Ronald Reagan International Airport (DCA). Both airports are about the same distance from Marine Corp Base Quantico and the wedding venue. Feel free to choose whichever works best for your travel plans.
