Parker and Lily met completely by chance. A woman had posted on Facebook looking for a copilot to fly across the country, and Lily thought, “Why not?” So off she went on an adventure with a complete stranger. Their journey brought them to a fuel stop in Peoria, IL—where fate had something extra in store. As Lily walked into the building, she noticed a cute boy out of the corner of her eye. Just as she was about to leave, that cute boy—Parker—walked up and struck up a conversation. What began as a “networking” chat ended with a handshake and, of all things, a LinkedIn profile (romance in the digital age!). Not long after, Parker and Lily found each other on Instagram and started messaging. Parker eventually asked for her number, and after plenty of back-and-forth (and a few times Lily left him on read), he finally convinced her to go on a first date on August 6th. Since then, their story has been fueled by airline flights, late-night FaceTime calls, and showing up at one another's work overnights. Somewhere between all the travel and the laughs, they realized they’d found their forever copilot. Now, they’re so excited to take off on their biggest adventure yet—marriage!
