We first met in October 2023 through our good friends, Luke and Claudia Wegner. While visiting Claudia at Martin Luther College, Lilian was introduced to Andrew, and what started as a simple introduction turned into something much more. Not long after, Andrew surprised Lilian with a Christmas gift: a trip to Florida. During that trip, on January 10, 2024, he asked her to be his girlfriend. From then on, the two of us have shared countless memories together and grown closer with every step. On July 4, 2025, at Roche-A-Cri Park near Lilian’s family cabin on Castle Rock Lake, Andrew proposed; and Lilian said “yes!” Now, we look forward to saying “I do” on June 13, 2026, surrounded by our family and friends. After the wedding, we plan to live in the Mequon–Milwaukee area. Andrew will be attending Seminary to pursue a career in ministry, and Lilian will be starting her career as a nurse. We are thankful to God for bringing us together and teaching us daily what it means to love one another with patience, kindness, and faith.
