How do I travel from the airport to the resort and back again?

Answer

Through Expedia you can add a shuttle or private transfer at an extra cost. You can also take a taxi. The resort is about 45 min from the Airport.

Which Barcelo resort should I book at?

Answer

Make sure to book at the Barcelo Maya Palace. There are 5 other Barcelo's within the same complex.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Beach Casual: Women ~ Sun dresses ~ Maxi dresses ~ Flowy skirts with a nice top. **No shorts or swim suites** Men ~ Linen shirts ~ Short sleeve button-downs ~ Dress shorts ~ Khaki pants **No Shoes are required at this event**

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

Yes! We want you to be able to enjoy our wedding day in full feeling, truly present and in the moment with us. We will be having a professional photographer capturing these great moments for us! We're respectfully asking everyone to consider leaving all phones and cameras in your bag during the ceremony.

What is the wedding day Itinerary?

Answer

Feel free to enjoy the resort and the amenities. Do not book any excursions this day. Please plan to arrive at ceremony 30 min prior to start time at 6pm FRIDAY September 12, 2025. There will be a dinner reception following the ceremony for 3 hours. We will continue celebrating throughout the night at the resort bars and nightclub.

How do I book in the blocked rooms?

Answer

We did not block rooms for this event. It is cheaper for you to book through an outside source that packages flights and rooms than to book them separately through the resort.
