We became best friends right from the start and never thought that we would end up here, together forever. You don't expect to find your soulmate in the middle of a corn field in Atchison, KS. In fact, the expectation is quite the opposite. Sometimes the person made for you is the guy sitting next to you in class passing funny notes while the teacher is staring and judging, wondering if he should say anything (but realizing there's no need because we were the best students in the class). Sometimes, she is the one you meet in passing outside one of those ridiculous fountains on campus while simply walking from place to place with your R.A. (because yeah, you're that guy who could only make friends with people paid to be your friend... at least initially). Sometimes, she's your best friend who calls you up and asks you to talk her through something, or he is the one who calls your bluff without you knowing it the first time he tells you he loves you. All we know is that we couldn't be happier or more excited to spend the rest of our lives with that person, and we are so incredibly grateful for the roles you have played in our lives to this point. Thank you for celebrating with us, whether you are present, or remote, we ask for your prayers and give you our most profound gratitude for leading us down this crazy path called life.
