Way back in 2002 Jeremiah moved Big Sur with some of his friends. He worked and lived at Fernwood Resort. He was going about his normal morning routine and walked into the store to get a drink. It was my first day and I was behind the register. He grabbed what he came in for and walked out without saying a word, or paying. I was in shock that this guy just walked out like that. I was told that it was ok, it was his shift drink. He walked into the Bar where the head of security was and said "who's the blonde in the store?" Craig replied "Lilia, Bill Jr's girlfriend." not knowing who that was Jeremiah asked "who is Bill Jr?" Craig looked at him like he was dumb for a second and said "Bill, your boss, his son." Later that night we all gathered at the bar and we hit it off as friends. over the next 9 moths we all became close friends. As a group we went on adventures together, jade hunting, hiked, drummed, played in the river, sat around many campfires, shared meals. We lived and worked together like a family. We all spent all of our free time together as a group. Then in March he said I got a job offer back in L.A. a couple of weeks later he was gone. That June I married Bill. five years later I lost Bill to cancer. Jeremiah heard that Bill had passed, and began looking for me. He reached out and looked for me via myspace, facebook, and every other way he could think of. One day he got news that a mutual friend of ours who he was still close with had been killed. As sat there in shock he was thinking about all of the amazing times we all had together. Scrolling threw facebook I popped up as a friend suggestion the same day. He sent me a friend request and a message right away. We spent the next year and a half catching up, and reconnecting. I was scared to see him after so many years. Then it happened. I messaged him to come pick me up. I wasnt sure what was going to happen at that point but I was ready to find out. We have been together ever since that day.
