Julia and Matt met in Las Vegas in January 2011. Julia was in Vegas to celebrate the 25th birthday of two of her closest friends, Sarah and Julia. Matt was in Vegas at the same time, celebrating his friend Josh's 30th! Julia's friend Julia had just started dating Matt's friend Neil, which led the girls and the guys to meet up for drinks and dancing at a club at the Luxor. Matt was sitting on the edge of where the group was hanging out, looking pretty bummed as he had just had a drink spilled all over him. Julia looked over and saw Matt, instantly thought he was the most handsome man she had ever seen, and started asking her friend Julia for details! Was he part of our group? Who was he? Was he single? You know, the good stuff. Upon finding out that he was part of our group AND single, Julia boldly walked over to Matt and said, "You look bummed. Let me buy you a beer!" They spent the rest of the night dancing and getting to know each other. Seven years later, Matt and Julia are getting married and can't wait to become husband and wife!
