What is your story?

Answer

During our junior year of college we were introduced by a mutual friend and had an instant connection! We both grew up in small towns, love our families, and love being outdoors. Our favorite activities to do together are hiking, climbing, camping, traveling, biking, and visiting the mountains! Over the past 7 years, we finished undergrad and graduate school, added a cat and dog to the family (Ren and Gordie), and moved from Raleigh to Charlotte, NC. We are so excited to get married and celebrate with all of you!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is requested. We recommend suits for men, and dresses/suits/pantsuits for women (it may be chilly!). We will have a heated tent for the reception, but the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the following hotels: Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte Waverly (preferred) Courtyard Marriott Charlotte Waverly View the Travel page for hotel block information. However, feel free to explore Airbnb, VRBO, and surrounding areas for more variety.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at the venue by 4:15pm on 11/11. We can't wait to see you!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be a parking area at the venue. We will also have a shuttle running from the hotel block to the venue at 3:30pm on 11/11, and back home at the end of the night. Uber and Lyfts are also available in the area. The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location. Golf cart escorts from the parking lot to the ceremony space will be available for those who would like to use one.

Answer

Yes! If needed, cars can be left at the venue overnight.
