It all started with a match on Facebook Dating. From the very first messages, the conversation flowed easily. We quickly discovered we shared a love for mountain biking, camping, and hiking, along with an overdeveloped sense of sarcasm and humor that made every conversation fun. Not long into talking, we realized we had both just turned 50 and had recently celebrated our birthdays. As we continued getting to know each other, we also learned how important family was to both of us, especially when it came to our children and the unique ways our families had come together over the years.
