One of Dallas's most iconic spots and a great shopping destination! The perfect place to visit some of the best shops and look at the one-of-a-kind art installations
Highland Park Village
A luxury outdoor shopping village in Highland Park that’s perfect for strolling and shopping! It’s a great spot to grab a bite at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, Mi Cocina, or stop by Saddles for a delicious coffee/pastry!
Dallas Museum of Art
A great art museum in the heart of the city featuring rotating collections and special exhibitions. It's a great place to explore, take in incredible artwork, and spend a relaxing afternoon downtown!
George W. Bush Presidential Center
Located on SMU’s campus, this museum has amazing exhibits and a fun replica of the Oval Office to take photos in!
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
A fun and interactive museum all about science and nature, with hands-on exhibits and something interesting for all ages to enjoy!
White Rock Lake
A beautiful lake perfect for a morning walk, run, or a relaxing stroll to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Fun fact: Lila grew up on this lake!
Katy Trail Ice House
One of our favorite places to go on the weekends to grab a patio table, watch a game, or play cards with friends! Tip: Go early or be prepared to wait, since it gets busy on the weekends!
R+D Kitchen
One of our favorite restaurants in Dallas! Some of our favorites are the Dip Duo, Ding’s crispy chicken sandwich, and the Osaka style pressed sushi!
Il Bracco
Amazing upscale Italian food! Our favorites are the focaccia with whipped ricotta, spicy gemelle, and crispy chicken!
El Vecino
Award-winning Tex Mex restaurant in East Dallas owned by friends Kim and John McBride. Great fajitas and margaritas! Fun fact: The El Leon drink on the menu is named after Lila’s dad.
Truck Yard
Nestled off Lower Greenville Avenue lies Truck Yard, a cool outdoor beer garden and bar featuring live music, rotating food trucks, and plenty of adult beverages. This is a great place when the weather is nice!
Fort Worth Stockyards
This National Historic District features a twice-daily, free “cattle drive” at 11:30am and 4:00pm where real cowhands lead a heard of legendary longhorns down East Exchange. Stay the day and enjoy shopping, restaurants, bars, and live music!
AT&T Stadium
Home of the Dallas Cowboys located in Arlington. Daily tours are available. While you are there, Texas Live! located nearby features tons of restaurants, bars, and live music.
The Star in Frisco
Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility in Frisco. Daily tours are available and there are nice restaurants located across the street in The Star District.
Reunion Tower
This 561-foot observation tower and iconic landmark in downtown Dallas, also known as “The Ball,” features the GeO-Deck which offers 360-degree indoor/outdoor panoramic views of the city!
