We are getting married!

Isaak and Lila met at the very beginning of the summer in 2024 through a mutual friend who was extremely determined that they meet. From the start, it felt like one of those moments where timing aligned perfectly. Their first night together set the tone for everything that followed—dancing in the rain, laughing endlessly, and singing karaoke from the roof of Isaak’s truck. It was spontaneous, and completely unforgettable. After that night, neither of them wanted the conversation to end, and they both knew they had to keep talking. Not long after, on the 4th of July 2024, they officially started dating. What still makes them laugh is that Lila was completely sick that day and could barely talk, but even that couldn’t dull how special it felt. Despite a lost voice and low energy, it was clear this was the beginning of something real. From that point on, their relationship grew naturally. Filled with shared adventures, late-night talks, plenty of laughter, and the comfort of truly feeling at home with one another. After 11 months of dating, they decided to take the next big step, and in May of 2025, Lila moved into Isaak’s apartment. It quickly became their home. Life together has been full of love, and the kind of everyday moments that make everything feel right. Building a life side by side has only strengthened their certainty that they are meant to spend forever together. On August 29, 2025, Isaak proposed during a family trip to Utah while visiting Lila’s brother and sister-in-law. The moment couldn’t have been more perfect. As the family gathered for a photo, everyone stepped away once it was finished except Isaak. He stayed behind, and in that quiet moment, surrounded by family and love, he asked the biggest question. It was a complete surprise (especially because Lila asked him on the plane THERE) and met with an easy, joyful “yes.” They are thrilled to celebrate their love with the people who mean the most to them and can’t wait to begin this next chapter together!
