We met through a mutual friend in May of 2017 and we began talking all the time. We started officially dating on July 10th 2017 and the rest is history!

We got engaged in Lila's favorite place to visit, Estes Park, Colorado! We just had dinner at our favorite restaurant Mama Rose's! We took a walk along the river and he got down on one knee! It was really special considering how special this place is.

We wanted to get married before Jonathan had to leave for his overseas deployment. We picked a day in September that spoke to us and we chose September 14th! We got married at the courthouse in downtown Lincoln with Jonathan's brother Trent and Lila's sister Tessa as our witnesses. Trent and Tessa signed the marriage license and from that day forward we were married. This day is actually our 2nd wedding anniversary and the first wedding anniversary we get to celebrate together as a married couple.
