We met as cadets in the heart of Gainesville, FL, where our lives first intertwined during our freshman year. Together, we spent countless nights studying, practicing drills, and sharing lighthearted moments. What began as a strong friendship soon blossomed into a profound love, illuminating our college years with laughter, adventure, and an unwavering dedication to one another. As graduation approached, life’s paths led us in different directions. With Bailey called to serve in the Air Force and Alexis embarking on a journey with the Marine Corps, the challenge of long-distance weighed heavily on our hearts. Yet, through prayer, surprise visits, and cherished phone calls, our love deepened, fortified by faith in God’s divine plan. In the midst of this journey, we welcomed our beloved dog, Daisy, into our lives, the first member of the family we dream of building together. Daisy has brought joy and comfort during our time apart, reminding us of the home we are creating and the love that binds us. Each moment apart became an opportunity to grow closer, as we leaned on our faith and the promises we made to each other. We learned that love knows no distance, and our hearts remained intertwined through every trial and triumph, strengthening our bond and proving that nothing could ever diminish the love we share. Now, after navigating the highs and lows of military life apart, we are excited to take this next step.
