One flesh

23 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” 24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. In this way we are being joined together by God and becoming one flesh. No longer two but one to serve the purpose of the Father who is gracious and loving. He is the one who showed us love first, and as He unites us we will extend that love to the people of the world who He loves so dearly.

We met in a cafe in Astoria, New York on a truly cold evening on December 7th, 2018. We were nervous and excited to see each other in person for the first time. God created this chance encounter when Lijin spoke from the word of God at a youth christian conference at Lintta's church, and get this the title of the conference was "God's Plan". How God works is amazing we talked for hours about our goals and plans for life and what we liked to do for fun. It was an instant connection and now we are truly thankful for that cold night where we learned the search was over and we found the person we were to be knit with for life, Truly GOD'S PLAN!

On a beautiful Spring day in May, Lijin devised a plan with the special help from his family Gabi and Meekha that included their cousins and friends at the Colonial Park Gardens in Somerset, NJ. He had set up a photo shoot weeks ago with his best friend Jeril who happens to be a photographer. So, Jeril and his wife Asha met Lijin and Lintta at the park where they had an hour long photoshoot, little did Lintta know that her family and friends were waiting for her at the end of the photoshoot in the Rose garden which was the final location of the "photoshoot". When they reached the rose garden they were met with Lintta's brother Lino and nephew Noah as well as all of Lintta's first cousins. Near the gazebo was also one of Lintta's best friends Marjory who invited her with videos from her other friends who couldn't make it in person. And finally leading up to the gazebo was all the cousins and friends who handed sunflowers while Lintta walked to Lijin. Then Lijin "bent the knee" and asked Lintta to be her forever date.
