The Jacksons... Coming Soon!

Our love story might sound simple at first—we met on Hinge, the dating app! Before we ever met, though, the Lord was already working behind the scenes of our lives. In May of 2023, Ariel had originally planned to move back home to North Carolina after graduating from PT school, but in an act of obedience to the Lord, chose to remain in the DMV area while trusting that He would eventually reveal why. A few months later, in October of that same year, the Lord aligned it so that we both downloaded Hinge at the same time, in the same region, and somehow sifted through thousands of people to bring us to each other. We matched on October 7th, 2023 and quickly started chatting, which led to exchanging numbers. Feeling a spark, we decided to meet for dinner just four days later on October 11th. Our first date was lighthearted, seamless, fun, and full of Southern comfort food (smart thinking on Eric’s part!). From that night on, it felt like our story never paused. We became each other’s go-to for everything—talking, laughing, crying, confiding, and simply enjoying every moment together. After Ariel finally relocated back to Greensboro, North Carolina in July of 2024, we embraced every part of dating long-distance. We made the most of every other weekend together—taking turns driving up and down I-95, splitting holidays between our families, and sometimes sacrificing rest just to maximize our time together. Every visit became another opportunity to create memories, share laughter, strengthen our relationship, and grow closer to one another. Now, we’re beyond excited to begin this next chapter together in the same state, county, city, and home—finally! When it’s all said and done, we’ve learned to trust in the Lord… and maybe give the dating apps a chance—they really can work! We are so grateful for your prayers, love, and support, and we cannot wait to celebrate this joyful day with all of you.
