We met on Hinge which is a dating app! Kailey recognized him from when she was in scheduling and added him to a 6+ hour extension along with a few other techs. He was the only one that did not yell at her. She thought "this guy must be crazy". After talking for a few days they went out to dinner at Disney Springs. Both went home and immediately told close friends and family "this one feels different". Kailey met Chad's son Brayden while Chad was on overnights and he needed help watching Brayden. Brayden started asking when Chad needed someone to watch him if it could be Kailey. After a few months Chad introduced the idea of him dating Kailey to Brayden and he was okay with it. Brayden was welcomed into Kailey's family as if he had been in it his whole life This was when Chad and Kailey both knew this would be it.

Kailey and Chad took a trip up to Tenessee and Kailey thought she was just going for fun and to see Chad's family and go to Dollywood. Chad, Briana, and Ian had other plans. In Gatlinburg they all had planned on going to the sky bridge then to dinner. Luckily Kailey is oblivious to most things even though he had told her he bought a ring she didnt believe him. On the way up to the top of the bridge they passed a "get married at the bridge" sign and Ian looked back and made a joke about Chad and Kailey getting married at the Bridge.Kailey came back with "He has to ask me first". Once at the top they all walked over and a nice couple asked if we wanted a photo with everyone and Chad said "maybe in a minute" which seemed weird to Kailey. Then he asked her if she knew why they were really there and she said no then Chad got down on one knee and proposed and Kailey rebooted (as Ian likes to say) Kailey obviously said yes and the ring fit!
