Our meeting was that of right place and right time. Matthew was entering his last year of college and Hannah had just graduated. The two met when the stars aligned, online of all places, and spent nearly every day together since their first meeting and haven't been apart since.
It was just a regular Thursday night or so Hannah thought. Matthew had told Hannah to prepare to go somewhere but with no other details. The sun was beginning to set and Hannah was very curious. A million thoughts were going through her head as they climbed in to his orange 2000 Ford Ranger. Eventually, they pulled up to a park near the library they use to visit when they first started dating. The park had a nice little pond and was sort of sat out of the way. Matthew walked over to an outcropping of land surrounded by concrete in a circular shape that was next to the pond and ducks swam merrily by in the water. He told her to turn around and close her eyes. Next thing she knows, he's asked her to turn back around, only to find rose petals lining the grass around them, candles, two champagne glasses filled with the wine they usually drink every valentines day from their favorite restaurant, and a speaker playing "I wish you peace" by the Eagles.
