Late April 2024, just a few months after Trevor moved down to Durbanville from Port Elizabeth, and Liezel returned home from living overseas for a few years, the settings of an online dating app brought us together. Who would have thought. On the evening of Sunday the 27th of April 2024, we decided to meet for a drink at Tigers Milk in Durbanville, about five hours later, we walked out. Making Trevor's first (and last) online date a pretty successful one. December 2024 we moved in together. August 15th on a farm outside Montagu, next to a braai and under the Klein Karoo skies, Trevor popped the question and for once Liezel was relatively speechless, except for the one word that she could remember 'Yes'. The 23 May 2026 will be marking the beginning of our forever. We ask that you join us for our next huge milestone, the day we become one, and Liezel becomes a Herbst.
