Will there be parking?

Answer

The venue is on private road with gated access. Please see this document for instructions in finding and accessing the venue: https://kaalavista.notion.site/Directions-to-Ka-ala-Vista-a0573116aab848dc9def65d18ab464da The parking lot can accommodate 25 vehicles, carpooling is advised for those planning to consume alcohol. Rideshare apps can be used, but there may be a wait time for returns as the venue is quite a distance from the main city.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for the event is Dressy Casual. You can think of this as an elevated everyday wear. Below are some ideas. Women: Sundresses, midi dresses, a dressy skirt and top, wrap dresses, or jumpsuits. Men: Dress shirts, Hawaiian shirts, polos, khakis, dress pants. Tie and jacket optional. We are not expecting full suits. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the evening as the venue can get windy and Hawaiian weather is unpredictable.

What to expect from weather?

Answer

August is mid summer in Hawaii, we can expect weather in the mid 80s during the day and down to 70s in the evening. We will try and provide little umbrellas for cover but the venue is right out in the open sun! Please wear sunscreen and dress appropriately for the heat!
