You can't miss the Calatrava addition but the original Eero Saarinen-designed War Memorial Center is worth a visit as well as the permanent collection

Location of the original Pabst Brewery with a bar and gift shop that sells vintage glassware and other fun things
Like the local Starbucks. They’re everywhere but this one, right across from Lake Michigan, has nice views.

Restaurant and Belgian beer bar across the street from the Public Market. Try the Milwaukeean Bloody Mary.
Italian market in Bay View that's been around for 100 years (and was recently taken over by some friends!) with a deli that offers pressed sandwiches
Good beer hall with food on the river. Open for lunch.
A custard and burger stand that's been open since the 30s and hasn't really changed
Great classic midwestern house bar. No drink menu but bartenders will make cocktails and ice cream drinks based on flavors and liquors you like.
A house bar open since the Sixties with fancy ice cream cocktails. It can get busy.
