We’re getting married !

Jessica and Tyler’s journey to marriage is not your typical love story. Back in 2021, Jessica was looking for a roommate to move into the college house she was renting when she got a message from Christina (Tyler’s mom). Her message asked that even though Jessica was originally searching for female roommates only, that she would allow her son, Tyler who had exhausted all other housing options, to rent a room in the house as a 6 foot 3 freshman guy, filled with 3 girls. After meeting Tyler and his warm and inviting demeanor, she was more than willing to rent the room to him. Upon the first few days of moving in, Tyler and Jessica had immediately hit it off. Attached at the hip for weeks, doing everything together. Trips to the grocery store became a fun and exciting event for the two, teasing each other about their differing cheese choices. After a few months of laughter, getting to know each other and enjoying sharing each other’s company, Tyler asked Jessica to be his girlfriend in his hometown in front of a beautiful ranch with a beaming sunset behind. She quickly accepted ! After a delicious lunch, and a scenic hike to a waterfall, Tyler proposed to Jessica on their 3 year anniversary in the cozy German town of Helen, Georgia. Again, she quickly accepted ! Jessica came into the relationship already a dog mom to her 12 pound Chihuahua-Dachshund mix Gizmo, but expanded their family with another dog about a year and a half into their relationship with a rescue named Uzi ! Their favorite phrase when asked about Uzi is “We have no idea what he is, but he sure is cute!” They have created such a loving and supportive family with each other and their dogs, and are so lucky to have met each other in such a unique and unexpected way. They are so excited to celebrate and share their love with all of their friends and family on their special day, April 25th, 2026 !!
