Our story

👰🏻 Her point of view

Here it goes.... After being single for nearly three years I decided I was ready for love, but where could I find the right guy? Knowing my circle I knew that the only chance I had of meeting someone was to try online dating. Online dating? That sounded crazy! And it was. A couple months passed and I was about to give up and said to myself that would be the last month, I’ve had enough! Until... Anthony sent me a message, I had said on my profile that I was a queen 👑 looking for my king and he said that I might have found my king , I tought it was funny and he seemed like a nice guy, we started talking and only four days later we met for lunch . I told him I only had two hours and had to go to work , lunch was like an interview I guess we crossed out the major questions, we both knew what we wanted. Throughout our lunch date he kept staring at me, but it wasn’t in a weird way, it was different . Our “interview “ ended and he asked me on a second date , I told him; about that... yes. Soon came second date and less than a month later we commited to a serious relationship, and since then we’ve became so close, it’s like we’ve known each other forever , we have a great communication and we are both different but in a completing way. I thank God for Anthony’s life, he’s nothing that I dreamed of, he’s way more than I could ever imagined. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

🤵🏻 His point of view

I was single for just over a year before I decided to put myself back out there. I was never big into clubs or bars, and in my line of work you don’t date “customers”. My only option was to go online. I’m a nerd so I was good with this. After a few months, all I was finding were girls who wanted to play games. I don’t find that fun. I expanded my search radius and Liddy’s profile came up. After reading her profile, I definitely got the feeling she wasn’t going to play games. She said she was looking for her King, I responded by telling her she might have found her King. We started talking and I was really eager to meet her!! We set up our initial interrogation, I mean our first date! lol On our first date, she was so beautiful, I couldn’t stop staring at her, there is just something about her!! She asked me what I was looking for and I told her I wanted a relationship that can lead to my wife. Bold move on a first date, but like said, I dont play. Six days later on our second date at Mizner Park, we kissed for the first time. At that point, I knew she was different. I remember telling her that was going to be our last first kiss! Things picked up and a few weeks later, we were in a serious relationship!! On October 3rd we said those three little words “I Love You”. It felt amazing and different and I knew it then, she was going to be the one. I thank God every day for leading me to her. She has completed me in every aspect of my life. She is everything I been wanting and more! I am truly happier then I’ve ever been. “I've begun to realize That whenever I am with you You deliver me from the pain in my life Easy now to recognize All the misery I have been through It was beating me to submission 'Til the day you arrived I knew I could be whole if you were mine” -David Draiman

💍 The Proposal

The decision to propose to Liddy was a very simple one. In fact, there was no questioning it, I know she is my soulmate ❤️ However, the when, how, and where, were the harder questions. Originally I wanted to propose at Mizner Park, where we had our first kiss. After speaking to Pastor Bayer, he suggested at the church. I spoke to my mother and sister and they also liked the church idea, but not during service as Pastor suggested, but in between services. So on April 14th after first service, I told Liddy there was something wrong with her guitar and we went up on stage. With my heart racing I told Liddy how I felt, I got down on one knee and I popped the question! She said yes, as tears were falling from her eyes, shaking, and I knew right there, this is the best decision I’ve ever made!!
