How and when should we RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 19th. When visiting our wedding website, select the "RSVP" section. Enter your name into the search box and your RSVP options will appear for you and anyone in your group/party.

Where is the wedding ceremony & reception?

Answer

We are getting married at The Brightside Music & Event Center. Both the ceremony & the reception will take place at this location. Address: 905 E 3rd St. Dayton, OH 45402

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

The Brightside has several parking lots available for guests that plan to drive & park at our venue. The venue's parking map can be found at the following website: https://www.thebrightsidedayton.com/parking Other transportation options include Uber, Lyft, or local taxi services.

Have you reserved blocks of hotel rooms?

Answer

Yes, Courtyard Dayton - University of Dayton is available at a discounted rate for those in town for the Chartian Wedding. Book reservations online using the weblink in the "Travel" section of this website or call the hotel directly at 937-220-9060 and ask for group code LCW

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We encourage cocktail and semi-formal attire for our special day.

Are plus-one's and children allowed?

Answer

Please refer to the invitation that was addressed to you. Persons listed on the envelope are who we've planned to be in attendance.

Do you have a wedding registry or preferred gift?

Answer

We have established a "Newlywed Fund" where guests can contribute a monetary amount if desired. We have also set up a Target and Amazon Registry with a few things we would love. Both of these can be found in the "Registry" section of this website. We also enjoy shopping together and would welcome any gift cards to places where we can shop for home items or everyday essentials!

Is there a wedding day itinerary?

Answer

Doors to our venue will open at 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm with a reception to follow. Our special day will conclude at 11:00pm.

What can we expect for food & beverages?

Answer

Beverages will include water, sodas and juices. In addition, alcoholic beverages will be available at the bar until 10:30pm. Food will be made available immediately following the ceremony with a variety of prepared appetizers. Dinner will be buffet style with something for everyone to enjoy!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both ceremony & reception will be indoors. However, the venue has an outdoor patio that is available for our guests to enjoy!

Question

Are there any other events happening during your wedding weekend?

Answer

Family of the bride and groom are invited to attend a gathering on Friday August 15th, the night before the wedding. Additional details about time and location will be shared at a later date.

What is the accessibility of the wedding venue?

Answer

Our venue has accessibility accommodations for our guests. Guests with accessibility needs will have access to the elevator up to the ceremony, and there are no additional steps or barriers that guests should be aware of.
