Weather:
Around this time of year, Tunis has just escaped the heat wave and is nearing the end of its tourist season. The weather features warm mornings and chilly evenings.
Neighborhoods for Accommodation:
- We recommend staying in Marsa, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said or Ghamrat.
- Airbnb and booking.com offers a variety of rental properties, boutique hotels and big hotels in the suggested areas.
Transportation:
- If you enjoy walking and you’re staying in one of the suggested areas, you won’t need to worry about transpiration.
- Driving in Tunis is manageable and the city is easy to navigate. The daily cost for renting a small automatic car is around 50 to 70$ (we can recommend an agency if you’re interested).
- The only legitimate taxi service is Bolt/In Drive (download the app), which uses yellow taxis and is safe to use.
- The wedding venue is about 30 minutes outside of Tunis, so we will arrange transportation for guests on the day of the event.
