What is the easiest way to reach the venue?

Answer

If you have a toll tag you can take Highway 99. If you do not have a toll tag the easiest way is to take I45 N turn left on 105 west towards Plantersville. Or if you are coming from the north, take I45 S turn right on 105 West towards Plantersville. We will have balloons out by the roadside to make the entry to the venue easier to spot because it is easy to miss the entry. Are children permitted at the wedding?

Answer

Please celebrate with us at an adults-only reception immediately following the ceremony. We also kindly request no children at the ceremony.

Is our wedding an “unplugged” affair?

Answer

We have two amazing photographers to capture our day. We kindly ask that you silence your phones and put them away during our ceremony and all main dances during the reception. We want you to be present in the moment with us and enjoy every moment of this celebration of our lives, screen free. We will have disposable cameras on the tables at the reception and kindly ask you take many pictures with them for us so we can capture many memories of our day. We will even have a photo scavenger hunt game for you to play to help us capture said memories. Please have fun with it!

Covid concerns

Answer

In light of covid 19 we ask you still try to maintain the six feet apart rule and we will have masks if you so choose you would like one. You do not have to wear it but if you do not have your vaccines we recommend a mask for everyone’s safety

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are having a small intimate wedding with our closest family and friends. Please be respectful of the number of seats that have been reserved in your name. If you bring a plus one that is not included in your invite and do not let us know there is a risk of them not receiving food at the reception. Thank you for your consideration and attention to this manner. We are so thankful you are choosing to celebrate with us today!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding will be a semi-formal event. For women, this means afternoon or cocktail dress, dress skirt and top, or dressy separates. For men; business suit or dress shirt, tie, and slacks. Please refrain from jeans, jerseys, t-shirts, leggings, joggers, and sneakers. Ladies please refrain from wearing white, ivory, yellow, red, or black. Thank you.

RSVP

Answer

Weddings are expensive as everyone knows. We kindly ask that you confirm your RSVP as quickly as possible and do not cancel your RSVP without letting us know. This is so we can provide the caterer with the correct and appropriate amount of food for the evening. If you do not RSVP we will assume you are not attending and take you off the count and there will not be food for you at the reception. That’s why we kindly request that you keep in contact with us and let us know your confirmation status. You will also be informed in your invite how many seats are being reserved in your name. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

How early do I need to show up before the ceremony?

Answer

Excellent question! Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremony. The ceremony begins at 3:30 so we ask you please arrive at 3. We will have some beautiful music for you to enjoy while you are waiting and please remember this is Texas and there is no telling what the weather will be like so please plan accordingly. It is an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. If it rains we will be moving the ceremony inside.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

We have made available to you multiple hotel choices to stay at that are close to the venue or close to the airport if you are flying in. We do not have blocked rooms at a specific hotel because we do not have many out of town guests and therefore do not have transportation set up for guests. We highly recommend Uber or Lyft to get you where you need to go if you cannot carpool with someone local.
