What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests dress in formal attire. To define "formal": A formal wedding dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie event. Women can get away with a nicer cocktail dress (knee, mid or full lenth) and, for men, suit and tie. However, ultimately, we want you to be comfortable! Ladies, the ceremony and cocktail hour are hosted on grass. Please make sure to wear block heels!

Is there a shuttle service to / from the hotel & venue?

For those that requested transportation, please be out front of the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina in Mt. Pleasant by 3:30pm on 9/28, the trolleys will be departing promptly at 3:45pm. Trolleys will be onsite after the reception ends at 9:30 to bring everyone back to the hotel.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue no later than 4:30. This will allow you to park and walk to the ceremony location to find your seat. The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm, and if you arrive after, you will not be able be seated.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While we can't predict the exact forecast, Charleston weather in late September is unbeatable! You can expect to have around 80 degree weather during the day and cooling off to the mid 60s in the evening. Please keep in mind, that there is often high humidity during the month of September.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 15th 2024.

Is the wedding ceremony & reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be held indoors.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available on the property. There will be a parking attendant on site who will help direct you once you arrive.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family in our wedding party. We hope you can enjoy a parents night out!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you've received a plus one it will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Is there an after party?

Answer

For our guests who want to continue the party after the reception with us, we will be heading back to the hotel (Charleston Resort and Marina). There is a bar located in the lobby that will help keep the vibes going.

What time does the wedding end?

Answer

All good things must come to an end! Our wedding reception will end at 9:30.

I am unable to attend, what should I do?

Answer

Whilst you will be truly missed, if you are unable to attend, we would appreciate if you could RSVP and let us know at the earliest opportunity so that we can plan accordingly.

Will there be vegetarian / gluten free food options?

Answer

There are menu options to choose from, which will include a vegetarian option. If you are vegan or have other food intolerances, please let us know as soon as you RSVP so we can tell the venue well in advance.
