What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Garden Party Attire - Ladies, think knee-length, midi or maxi dresses, and we welcome you to mix in some summery or pastel colors and florals! Gentlemen, opt for a suit and tie. Ultimately, wear what you feel best to celebrate in!

Will there be transportation between the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Yes! We will have two mini buses to shuttle guests from the ceremony to the reception. Additionally, we will also have one bus available after the reception ends to take guests who parked or are staying near the ceremony venue back to the church. We would recommend parking near the ceremony venue.

What are the parking options near the venues?

Answer

Gallery Place Parking (732 6th St. NW, Washington, DC) is located between the church and the reception venue. There is a lot across the street from the church at 915 Fifth St. NW Washington, DC. There is a garage near the National Union Building at 901 E St. NW Washington, DC. DC also has some street parking, and there are several other parking garages in the area of our wedding ceremony and reception.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We are not booking a hotel block. Instead, guests can book the hotel or AirBnB that makes the most sense for their needs! We have also suggested a couple of nearby hotels in the Travel section of our website.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you enter your name on our website, and your RSVP form says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we kindly ask only you to join us. Thank you for your understanding!
