Libby and Zach currently live in Baroda, MI with their dog Hank. After the two graduated from MSU they spent a little over a year in Memphis, TN where Zach worked as a supply chain analyst and Libby worked in a school as a behavioral technician. Zach received a job at Whirlpool that brought the two back to Michigan to be closer to family in the spring of 2022. Libby is currently in a graduate program for school psychology at Andrews University where she will receive her Education Specialist degree to become a school psychologist.

Zach and Libby both grew up in Saint Joseph, MI living just five minutes apart. Zach's mom was Libby's favorite teacher in second grade and they both went to the same schools, with Zach being two grades ahead of Libby. However, it wasn't until they both were attending Michigan State University and talked at a friend's hometown tailgate that sparked their relationship. They began dating in 2019 and got engaged in 2022 on a sailboat in Saugatuck, Michigan where they often visited to go to their favorite restaurant on the Kalamazoo river.
