We met how a lot of couples do now - a dating app. Our first date was at Claddagh Coffee on West 7th where we both felt an intense sense of comfort with each other. It was like we'd already been dating for months on the first day we met. We knew there was something special there and quickly decided, "this was it." Claddagh will always be our special date spot!

Our proposal was as simple as our first date - only because I ruined Taylor's plans! He had planned a day-hike at Afton on Christmas Eve for us and the dogs, but when it got too cold and snowy for Jilly, we decided it was too cold for all of us. We ended up cooking dinner together and watching something mundane on Netflix. Taylor turned to me, gave me the most gorgeous ring and popped the question! We promptly turned on Star Wars to celebrate.
