Where can we stay?

Answer

We have a room block at The Omni Hotel in Charlottesville. You are welcome to stay there or any nearby hotel.

Transportation?

Answer

We are so excited to share this day with you all. We want this to be a fun and relaxed experience for our friends and family and so we booked a shuttle bus to the venue from The Omni Hotel for everyone to enjoy. Please check back in the website closer to the date to see pick up and drop off times.

Why does my invitation only say reception?

Answer

The ceremony site has very limited occupancy. We are keeping the ceremony very intimate but would love to celebrate the night away with everyone.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - the dress code is semi-formal with a spring color palette encouraged. For women this means anything from floor length to cocktail dresses. For men this means anything from a suit to a nice dress shirt with a tie. Please no jeans.

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

YES! Our vendors are working very hard to make this a perfect day, head counts are due no later than 30 days prior to the wedding. If we do not receive a RSVP from you, we will assume you will not be coming and your headcount will not be given to the vendors to set out a seat for you or prepare a meal for you. We will be sad we missed you!

Are children invited?

Answer

While a few family children will be attending, we're keeping the event adults-only for the majority of our guest list. We hope you can use this as an excuse for a well-deserved night off!

Can I send gifts to your home instead of bringing it to the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We would greatly appreciate gifts delivered directly to us because we are flying to and from the wedding. Our address is 142 Bremerton Drive SW, Huntsville AL 35824

Parking / Ridesharing

Answer

Please note - parking for the ceremony is VERY limited, use of the shuttle is encouraged. Please plan your transportation carefully for the wedding weekend. While rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) may be available to the venue, availability at the end of the evening is extremely unlikely and cannot be relied upon. We strongly recommend using the transportation provided, as it will ensure a safe and easy return at the end of the night. Guests choosing to drive should plan accordingly.

If a plus one was not already included in your invite please contact the bride or groom if you'd like to bring someone special!
