Yes! We have reserved the entire parking lot on the south side of the National Nordic Museum for wedding guests beginning when the museum closes at 5:00 p.m. If the lot is full, there is street parking in the neighborhood.
We'd love to see you in "festive" cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception! Feel free to come in spring colors or styles that compliment the modern museum venue. The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Other events are casual.
Your RSVP will ask you to let us know which events you can make. Please take a look at the "Schedule" section for the events taking place throughout the weekend.
Instead of a wedding cake, we're planning to have a cookie table. This idea comes from a Pittsburgh wedding tradition and while we have no ties to Pittsburgh, we certainly love cookies :) We are hoping for friends and family to help make this happen: - We would be grateful if you'd be willing to make 2 dozen cookies - NO NUTS, please. We have a couple of guests with severe nut allergies (peanuts especially). - We'd love an assortment, anything you love making sounds great! - You'll bring them to the ceremony and our catering team will take care of the rest. Please make sure to sign up, see below. - Please do not feel obligated to do this! We are lucky to have some wonderful bakers in our lives and just wanted to offer this to any guests who might be interested. - SIGN UP to let us know you are bringing them by email (libbyandmatt206@gmail.com) or on the sign up sheet here: https://shorturl.at/eqswM
