The Holy Donut (Drive-Thru!)
Potato flour donuts made by hand in Scarborough. Don't come to Maine without at least grabbing one of these donuts! We recommend the dark chocolate sea salt and the sweet potato ginger glazed flavors.
Bissell Brothers Brewing Company
One of the best breweries in the Portland area in a cool location off Thompson's Point (and near the airport!).
J's Oyster
If you're looking for great seafood and a fun atmosphere right on the water, look no further! (we highly recommend the oysters)
Rose Foods
Best bagel in Portland. We've tried them all and made it easier for you to find it! (And they sell Saratoga water!!!). We recommend the bagel and lox.
Eastern Promenade
Portland's waterfront is at its most picturesque at the Eastern Promenade. Beloved by locals, the Eastern Promenade is a 68-acre waterfront park located on a stretch of land separating Back Cove from the Fore River. The park offers trails, beaches and plenty of grassy areas to simply kick back and unwind. To make the most of your visit, take a stroll along the 2-mile-long Eastern Promenade Trail, which starts in the heart of the Old Port.

Rising Tide Brewing Company
This is one of our favorite places to take Portland newcomers. Enjoy the fun outdoor vibes and take a walk to the neighboring brewery - Austin St. We love the food trucks that park at Rising Tide. Check their website to see which truck will be there!
Maine Beer Company
Enjoy the selection of beer and pizza in a fun, welcoming, warehouse environment with plenty of room to hang out. Our favorite beer choice is the Peeper - we enjoyed this for the first night on our engagement! We also recommend Lunch and Dinner (two other great choices!).
